- Worked as a specialized arts teacher for The Toronto District School Board, Toronto Catholic District School Board and Harbourfront Centre.
- Co-founder of the Art à la Carte program ̶ now in its15th year ̶ at Toronto’s Norway Public School. This is a special lunchtime art & craft program open to any and all children who want to participate. Sometimes as many as 200 kids attend at once.
- Developed Web Games for the Inventive Women/Inventive Kids Millennium Website project.

-Awards include; The Toronto Art Director’s Club, The London Advertising and Design Awards, Packaging Association of Canada (PAC), Studio Magazine Awards

-Elementary Principal, educator and mentor for over 40 years
-Voted “Educational Leader of the Year” by The Council for Exceptional Children
-Committee member that initiated the TDSB “Breakfast Program” for at risk students in low income areas.
-DJ, Halloween Elvis Impersonator and role model to students, parents and teachers.
-A long time practitioner of “fun in education”. In Mr. Rudd’s schools, children started their days with a morning joke, danced in the halls to celebrate “Leap Day” and always left the school on the last day of term with the PA blasting Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out for Summer!”

- Over 22 years of experience designing retail in domestic and international markets.
- Richard has successfully repositioned the retail assets of many fortune 500 companies including such firms as Shoppers Drug Mart, Canadian Tire, McDonalds, Rogers, Bank of Montreal, A&P, Sobey’s & Sport Chek.
- Richard’s market expertise has set the direction and thought leadership of such renowned firms as Watt International, Grapheme Branding & Design (Cossette), A&P, Envision and MC3 Global Retail.
- Richard is currently designing in Canada and recently completed large projects in Central and South America.
